And may all your little dreams come true!

This is my favorite part of the day...

The minute I get in the door and up past the baby gate, little two year old arms wrap themselves tightly around my leg as Cubbie yells, “Mama Home!”
I lift him up, snuggle his little cheek, and kiss his fine brown hair. All my work worries just melt away as I transform from employee to Mommy.
Love radiates from my heart and my soul into my little one’s spirit, letting him know, although I’m away 40 hours a week, you (and your brother and Daddy) are the most important thing in the world to me.
(I must say, it’s hard to snap a one-handed picture of a child attached to your leg without being knocked over!)
I’m so excited! This is the first year since having kids that I’ve been able to plant flowers. My boys are finally at an age that they can play for short periods of time without needing me within reach. So, when the weather finally cooperated, DH, the boys, and I headed out to the little flower stand down the road.
Once home, I thoroughly enjoyed the gritty feeling of rich planting soil between my fingers as I gently arranged my little blooms. And made a complete mess, dirt everywhere!
Now, flower connoisseur, I am not. I pick them based on COLOR! I know, I know…not the right way to do it. I don’t even pay attention to the little charts that tell you how far to space them. I guess I just leave it all up to chance.
Don’t you just love the contrast of blue with yellow. Well, except that the yellow flowers (no clue what they are called) are overpowering my little blue pansies. So much for chance!
What are YOUR favorite flowers to plant in the Spring/Summer?
