I Have Toys to Pick Up…

…Cubbie’s birthday party to plan

…Sprout’s preschool program

…a major project due at work next week

…my physical fitness test on Tuesday (wish me luck!)

And so many other things going on right now that I’ve decided to take a break from blogging. A week, maybe two…we’ll see. I just need some time to get caught up on life…if ya know what I mean!

Baby Birds Update

Hi there!

I checked in on the baby Robins this past Friday. Their eyes were open and they had feathers!

Sprout and Cubbie love to hear the little chirps coming from the deck. If you look closely, you can see all four beaks.

I was lucky to get these pictures because a minute later, Mama Robin returned and nose dived at my head. I could hear the flutter of her wings right next to my ear as I ducked and ran inside!

And then, yesterday morning…

The baby Robins were gone! I didn’t want to post a picture of an empty nest full of bird poo, so instead, here’s my curious boys trying to see into the nest.

Move Over Lance Armstrong!

I just knew...

It wouldn't be long...

until Sprout got his first pedal bike!

Now he's a biker, just like his Daddy! 

He had a Strider balance bike before. So now, he just has to get the hang of the pedals. I'm sure the training wheels will come off pretty quickly. He's already zooming all over the neighborhood!
