Um, yeah

The day after Thanksgiving, we put up the Christmas tree. And here's the best pic I got of the boys...

Sprout was yelling “Coconut” (don’t ask) and Cubbie, well, I don’t know where his left hand was, but I’m pretty sure I don’t want to know ;-)

PS. Thank YOU for all the kind comments on my last post. I really appreciate all the advice and support! Sometimes, getting input from other moms (and a few dads) helps put things into perspective.

Down the road, in 10 + years, when you look back at these pictures, you'll probably treasure them more because they are so "them" and not as perfect as we'd like them to be for the shot! What a great picture!

I love this picture. It should be your Christmas card - haha! I keep telling Mike we need a picture that captures our family as it really is...screaming kids, crying mom, etc. Hehe!

Keep the coconut comment handy. Some day they're gonna ask about what he was saying. Cute.

I remember those days when they just wouldn't pose for anything! Believe me you will cherish this photo (if you don't already!).

I love it! So much more realistic than those fakey, everybody's happy ones. Or, maybe I am just bitter cause I can't ever get one of those. Anyway, I love the pic.

I can never get a picture of my girls together, either! If I do, it's usually accidental. :) One of Lily's friends went through a phase of saying "coconut" constantly. He just loved the way it sounded!

Too stinkin' cute, they are, CM. I just love the look(s) & how precious they are. Is there a wee cop car on that tree, I see a fire engine. Did the boys help you decorate?

Time for beddy bye ... Hugs & lots of love to you ~ Marydon

Yes I too love it! Pictures like these with time (when you forget how much you wanted the "good" shot) will be the ones you love the most

Agree with other comments about this being just wonderful, much better than the posed and perfect shot (something I need to remind myself about). I seem to get mad when they don't look or smile, and forget how special these moments are :)

Laughing at the disappearance of the hand! Yeah, you probably don't want to know.
