Peanut Butter Blossoms!

060610cookies

Yes, it’s FRIDAY! And I have the day off. So I figured I would join in with Mama M and do a little 5 Question Friday. Here we go…

1. Do you open presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

Christmas day, of course! First thing, like 6 AM, both boys are wide awake and ready to tear open presents.

2. What is your favorite Christmas cookie (or candy)?

Well, if you haven’t figured it out yet by the above scrumptious picture above taken by Dan4th, I love Peanut Butter Blossoms. And since it would be criminal of me to post such a delish pic without a recipe to go along with it, here’s a link to one at Allrecipes.

3. What's the worst Christmas gift you've ever received?

Leg warmers….’nuff said.

4. Christmas songs that you love? (Ok, I made it plural, I couldn’t pick just one)

“Last Christmas” by Wham (don’t laugh, I’m a 80s kid, remember :-)

“Do They Know It’s Christmas” by Band Aid

“Happy XMas (War is Over)” by John Lennon

5. How many trees do you put up?

One. The day after Thanksgiving. You can see it here.

If you want to join in, hop on over to My Little Life and link up.

So what are YOUR plans for the weekend??? We are supposed to get up to 12 inches of snow tomorrow! I’ll be sure to post some pics.

I'm glad its happening on the weekend and that I don't have anywhere to go.
Be safe if you go out. I'll go join the Friday questions now.

I'm an 80's kid, too. SO therefore I love all those songs. And uh- should I be ashamed that I still wear legwarmers from time to time? ha... Those peanut butter blossoms look so good. I'm so hungry now!

12 inches? How fun and not fun all at the same time! It's the best when you get high winds that cause snow drifts 10 feet high. As long as you know, have lots of food and heat at your house it's great to be stuck like that. Unless there are still animals outside to be taken care of, then not so much. :)

what I wouldn't have given to have received leg warmers as a gift in the 80s!

have a great weekend, hope you don't get snowed in

We always wait until Christmas day too, and we put one tree up inside. However, as part of the outside decorations, we put anywhere from one to three up along the front of the house. And I just love, love those cookies.

We are a house of peanut butter blossom lovers....

AND

....that's what I'll be doing while the snow piles up! :)

I think keeping the oven going will keep the house nice and toasty!

I love peanut butter blossoms, too, but I never knew that was their name! I think we're expecting freezing rain tonight...12 inches is a lot of snow!

Leg warmers, HAHA! Please tell me this was a couple decades ago... :)
Funny thing, I just ordered a ridiculous amount of baby leg warmers for #3 last week. :)
