Ok, maybe dark Spiderman isn’t exactly a good guy, but when your four year old INSISTS that’s the costume he wants when he sees it at Target, you just go with it!
Sorry, I know this isn’t the best picture with flash photography and Cubbie sans smile. They were NOT willing to pose when there was trick or treating to be done!
DH stayed home and gave out candy while I took the boys around the neighborhood. This year, Cubbie was old enough to actually say, “Trick or Treat!” They had a blast, filled up their buckets, and were tuckered out by the time we made it back home. We put them to bed and what’s a good Mama to do??? Sneak a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, of course!

Unfortunately in my line of work, I worked this one, as I've done the last three years, and many others in the past. The wife takes the kids out and there's no one home to hand out candy.
I feel better knowing the world is in the hands of these superheroes.
It is your duty to eat candy that might make your children sick. And how will you know unless you taste test?

When my kids were younger and went trick or treating, they had to "pay taxes," which meant give Mom a fun sized Snickers bar! ;)

Oh! Very very cute! I could care less about the smile and flash photography...just fun to see them all dressed up!
I went and bought Spiderman, Batman, and a Buzz Lightyear costume today on clearance...all sized too big (wasy on/off by themselves). The boys will get them for Christmas to play in...they love to run around in costume and rescue the world.

Your such a good mommy letting your boys pick their costumes. I liked them to match. Course they didn't when they were that age, but I got a few matches out of them the last few years (not this year but the past few). Enjoy this age when you only have to go to a few houses before they are done. This year my kids charged around making us keep up with them!
Oh that is totally the candy I would sneak too! I never get as good of Halloween pictures as I want, the kids are too anxious.
