One last visit to the beach.
Oh don’t fret, my little one…
there’s still time to draw in the sand…
and walk along the sandy shores before the snow flies.

Last weekend, after rescuing the turtle, we headed to the local county park. Water levels have been extremely low the past two years, so the boys have not been able to swim at the beach. But they still love playing in the sand!
I’m still learning how to use my Photoshop Elements 8. After adjusting the color/hue and saturation, I used Pioneer Woman’s edge burn.

glad you got a chance out to enjoy those waning days...bet they had fun even if they were unable to get in the water...nice pics...
I miss not having photoshop! You do a great job with photos! Boys are so big I swear they grew HEAPS over the summer while I was away from the blogworld. Best to you in the fall.
I think the pictures turned out well. I love the first one of the lifeguard chair.
What beach is this? The sand is so dark, but it is a very pretty beach!!
i love your pictures - and yeah - summer's over - i just come back from a walk - and had to wear jeans and a fleece jacket….
have a great weekend!
I'm quite ready for summer to be over. Bring on the cooler weather! Great beach pics! Glad you are getting to know PSE. Great, isn't?!
I want my summer back.
Looks like you all had a great time!
Pioneer Woman rocks and so do you with this beautiful story of summers end. Your photos are gorgeous with the burn.

Beautiful end-of-summer photos! I'm tossing around buying PSE8, but haven't made up my mind yet.
Oh Sweetie...
What a beautiful share. I so adore the shot of the little guy writing with his stick in the sand. Those are the best memories aren't they?
That shot of the lifeguard tower is so cool. I love that. Peaceful for the moment.
You look precious carrying your little one. My has he ever grown. Where has the time gone sweet friend?
Thank you for sharing today. I have so enjoyed my walk on the beach. What a beautiful place for two little boys to run and have fun. They can't break anything.
Have a beautiful weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Hahaha...so true! That's the best part about the beach...they can run wild and you're right, can't break anything!
The blue in those photos is so vivid! Those last few summer moments are bittersweet, aren't they?
Great pictures! Such sweet photos of you with your sons!
Ugh, summer always flies by!
Beautiful pictures!
Thanks for joining Surfin' Saturdays and grabbing our button! Following you back
I only went to the beach one time this year...I'll pretend I went back with you though> I need to spend more time at the beach...or on vacation in general.
Thanks for stopping by again and commenting on my blog! I believe the only edit I did on that photo was a slight crop on the left side to get rid of a spot caused by a tiny piece of dust on my sensor...I badly need to clean it! I'm glad you saw the alligator too!
Looks like you had fun at the bench!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm following you back! I LOVE these pics! So beautiful!
