Mr. Grumpy Pants

I have a teething two year old who cries, fusses, and is overall Mr. Grumpy Pants right now. I rock him, kiss him, tickle him, and rub natural teething ointment on his little gums and yet he’s still not a happy camper. I feel so bad for him, yet man, this is so hard! He wants to be held ALL the time right now.

This is a shot of him on my lap while sitting on the kitchen floor, dinner cooking away on the stove above.

I asked him to show me where it hurts. This is what he did:

My silly boy!

So I’ll cuddle him, make dinner while holding him on my hip, and overall love him up until this passes…and pray for sanity until it does!

Look at those beautiful eyes. How can you resist?

Keep your sanity? Are we sane at all being moms? I mean really?

Good Morning Sweetie...
Boy do I remember those days. It only seems like yesterday even though my baby is now officially 29 years old. I don't know where the time has gone.

He has the most beautiful eyes and love the photo of him opening his mouth. Priceless. Just priceless.

This too will pass in time, but as a Moma it sure makes us hurt with them at the time. Hugs to this sweet boy of yours.

Many hugs to you sweet friend. Have a gorgeous day. Love, Sherry

:) he is cute and I know those moments of trying to make dinner with one (or two) on my hip and hanging to my leg! :)

Having been through this three times, I feel for you. And him. Patience is a virtue, and this too will pass.

I'm new to your blog and I am really enjoying it.

Boy, do I remember those days and now I have a 7 month old grandson who is acting exactly just like your sweet boy! At least I can send him back home to mom and dad when he gets really fussy! :)

This too shall pass!

We are going to try an amber teething necklace with Rosebud...a friend in MI recommended it this summer and then I've seen them on a couple of blogs. Any thoughts on them? I'll let you know what we discover.

I hope it passes soon! I guess you'll just be enjoying some extra cuddling time. But, it is kinda hard when it's time to make dinner. :)

Who COULD resist??? And, really, why??? They only want you to cuddle for such a short while... Sigh.

Those eyes are to die for, CM...honestly.

Both of you are poor guys. I will be praying, too. He is just so adorable, though.

Oh, CM, how I ache for him. I remember my molars coming in & that horrible 'flap' drove me crazy aching. Poor little fella ... give him a hug from 'me', too.

Have a beautiful weekend ~

Deep breaths. Whining 2-year-olds are so exhausting (and yet still wonderful). Here's to some new teeth coming in FAST!
