I'm joining in with Monica from Pixel Perfect today for Before and After.
Here’s my SOOC shot:
This is Cubbie and I last summer. Yes, it’s a year old, but it’s one of my all time favorite pictures, at least after it was edited!
Here’s the edited shot:

I used Creative Memories Memory Manager 3.0 for editing (it was before I had PSE 8.) I cropped it to portrait, used the paint brush to make the people disappear, then turned it black and white.
On a side note….oh how I miss babywearing my babies!!!
Hop on over to
and check out lots of great shots!

It looks great! I love the crop and the black and white. Very sweet picture.
Terribly cute! I miss my babies being this small too. Almost makes me want another. Almost. :)
What a great edit! Love how you used the paintbrush to get rid of the people. Something I really want to learn. Awesome pic girl!!
Awww.... the crop is so cute!
Great job! I still don't know how to make people disappear.
What a cutie! I really miss those days too. Well, wait, I miss the days when my son was little enough for me to carry him for more than 30 seconds. lol. Yes, he still wants piggy backs even though he is 15 and weighs just over 110lbs. Plus, he's taller than me! Very nice edit to capture the moment.
Great crop! And this really looks nice as a B&W.
Look at me on your blog several times this week. You'd think I have extra tim on my hands...or I'm just getting lazy...probably the latter.
Anyway, I love that picture. And yeah for Creative Memories! I used to be a consulant!
Your shots are always so great! Fabulous job!!

Very cute!! I never was able to babywear on the front, by the way. I always had to do the back!
