Ribbit

Well, aren't you just the cutest…at least when it comes to frogs!

This little guy decided to park himself on our deck while we were grilling.

My little guys wanted to touch him, but since we were about to eat, I just let them say, “Hi”. I didn’t want them to get too close for fear that the frog would jump to his death off our deck. Maybe the frog would have survived, but I didn’t want to find out.

The top photo of the frog is my entry for:

Oh, by the way, TGIF! What are YOUR weekend plans? We have some landscaping in our future…ugh.

Cool! I hope you had a zoom lense to get that close ;) Knowing my luck he would have hopped right for me and I would have had a heart attack!

Very good shot :)

I love frogs! I think seeing a real, live, free to hop where he pleases frog is one of the most magical things for kids. :-)

This frog is great...it's like he's thinking "if I just sit here quietly, maybe no one will notice I'm here." LOL. I am your newest follower now and my weekend plans...we're going to a BBQ and Beer festival. I don't really care for beer, but I LOVE BBQ!

That is one top notch photo.

Did you know this about me, that I love love love frogs? I will hold them, talk to them, invite them to live in my frog houses? Maybe I'm still waiting for my prince. Hee hee.

What a great photo! I'm another frog lover! I really like the second pic, too! Up close and personal and then with a bit of perspective. Great work!

Cute! What lens did you use? I don't have a macro lens but use close-up filters on my 50mm.

We found one in our garage about that size yesterday. I wouldn't let the boys touch it either. I was afraid they would bring in the house and lose it like everything else! YIKES! Hope y'all have a great weekend and y'all the get landscaping done quickly!!! Stay cool!

@ Heather

I use a standard kit lens with zoom, 18-55. I do eventually want to get something better once I save my pennies!

I think that frog is really cute. I am surprised you could get the boys to only look. My kids would have been all over that frog trying to catch it.
