I'm still learning how to use my Canon T1i. On these shots, I used the standard kit lens (18-55mm) that came with my camera. I'm such a dork, as soon as my Daylilies bloomed, I ran out and took a bunch of photos. I'm sure my neighbors were wondering what on earth I was doing laying on the lawn, kneeling on the sidewalk, just to get different vantage points.
Then, it rained! So, of course, I couldn’t resist the chance to capture raindrops. The second it stopped, I ran out and took some more photos.

By the way, these are straight out of the camera. When I attempted to edit them, it just blurred the detail out, so I just left it alone.
I hope my Daylilies make you smile today :-) I love yellow!

I'd say you're a quick learner if those are the product of "just learning to use my T1i" :) Great job. They look amazing and the yellow is sure to brighten anyone's day....
Those are great shots for just learning...I would say you n I are about at the same level.. so much to learn about photography.
That is so pretty. Love how the yellow pops.. Have a great day.
These are so beautiful. You did an awesome job. Thanks for stopping by.
i'd say you are not too bad...that is beautiful...love the colors so vibrant....
Beautiful! I especially love the last one where the dew droplets are more visible. Great shots!
Certainly did make me smile!
You take a beautiful photo.
Very pretty capture!! Well I think you are not alone, me too do that hehehe. I just be sure I am not at the edge of the road hahaha. One time we had this beautiful sunset, I ran without my shoes then lay down to get a good shot with the grass, but it's worth it!! Happy 4th of July!
Turtles and frogs
These are fantastic shots. The color is so vivid and wonderful detail. The raindrops make them truly special. I never edit any of my photos. I think editing makes them look fake. I like them straight out of the camera with their complete reality displayed. Love these shots.
beautiful flowers
beautiful shots
my neighbors are finally used to me taking photos of anything and everything :)

Ha! Good to know...this winter I climbed up on a snowbank to take a picture of a "No Outlet" street sign!

Yellow is one of my two favorite colors! In fact, if I had to just one color, it would be yellow.
