Books with Daddy

My man.

He is a loving husband. He has grown into a doting, protective father.

It wasn’t always easy.

It all started with Sprout’s scary birth.

New parents, lost in a sea of sleeplessness. We made it through.

Then, twenty-two months later, Cubbie came along. Every night for three months, he fussed and cried from 6-10PM.

But through it all, my man endured. He rocked, he shushed, he understood my postpartum tears.

And now, when I see my man and my little men reading books together,

I shed only happy tears.

Beautiful. Having a devoted husband makes all the difference, doesn't it?! Don't know what I'd do without mine.

The image of my husband reading to the boys is always one of my most cherished, too. Great shot and reflections.

He sounds like the best. Every moment he spends with them as they grow is an investment in their stability and future.

Doesn't watching that stuff make you fall more madly, deeply in love with them? I love that, too. ;) My hubby's a great dad with my two - who are teens now - but he still takes my daughter on annual "dates" and is the best role model for my son. Amazing!

Oh, and NOW your address is finally saved in my computer. It took about a month before this blonde finally caught on to what CM stood for when I wondered why I hadn't heard from C____ M______. ;)
