2. Did you ever go to summer camp?
Yes, thanks to *Mr. Wilson, my 5th grade teacher. He knew about my mom’s drinking problem. He also knew (like the rest of the town did) how poor we were. So imagine my surprise when I found out I won a free week at summer camp for being the top school safety patrol guard! And guess who was in charge of selecting the winner? Yep, Mr. Wilson.

4. What is something you do that drives your spouse nuts?
I just asked my DH and he said, “When you tell me what to do.”

this is the first weekend we don't have a softball tourney for the girls.. so hubby and i are going to spend it together... maybe a date tonight.. then friends tom.. and somewhere in there a massive overhaul on the house... :)

I have exactly the same problem as you re stripey buzzy insects!! However I've said that wasps are my most feared critters, rather than bees. I don't mind fat little bumble bees, who tend to mind their own business, but some bees are just as pesky as those nasty wasps!! :(

My weekend is REST (ha!, I wish)... we laid 20 cubic yards of mulch in all our gardens the past 3 days ...
Well, your answers were not that unlike what mine would have been, but dad issues were like your mother's.
I look back on life & see the sweet things so many did for us kids ... Mr. Mullins saw to it we kids were the ones chosen to pick 'prizes' at town events, etc.
My DH wuld say the same thing as your DH ... my retort constantly 'well, then retain what needs done & getter done so I DON'T have to tell you what to do' ... sounds pretty fair to me, eh?!
