LOOK What Has Hatched!

Last week, there were beautiful blue Robin's eggs in a nest under our deck. Click here to see.

Yesterday, little chirps could be heard. I waited until Mama Robin flew off to find a worm. I snuck out on the deck, peeked down between the slats, and this is what I found!

Amazing! Just look at these newborn baby Robins! Their eyes aren’t even open yet.

Don't worry baby, your Mama's gonna be right back!

After I snapped a few shots, I raced back inside before Mama Robin returned. What a beautiful example of God’s creation!

awww... that's wonderful! We had a nest in the exact same place one year. It was great to be able to peek in on them every so often. Great shots!

YAY I was really hoping you would sneak a shot of the babies once they hatched! Love it!! I have a birdy that makes a nest every year in my ferns (a hanging basket on our front porch. Not my fav. place for her to make a nest but still very neat to watch!)

Thanks so much for sharing these!

When my boys were "little" they found a bird's nest with babies tucked inside. The mama had built her nest on the corner of our house. The boys could step on a outside chair and see the birds. Mama bird even allowed the boys to touch her babies. I thought to myself . . . these birds will never survive now. To my amazement the birds grew and learned to fly away. It was truly something that my boys will never forget. God bless you, my friend and your sweet little ones too.

Oh, that is awesome. Every spring we have birds who build their nests right in the rafters of our back patio. We can see the nest, and even the baby birds after they have hatched...but I would never be able to get an angle on them for a photo. Fun that you were able to!
