A little recap of my week:
1. *Warning* Quite possibly the worst picture ever taken of Sprout! (He was a tad bit cranky on picture day.)
Yes, my darling little 3 1/2 year old proudly came home with his preschool driver's license yesterday. I bet you didn’t even know there was such a thing! (Neither did I.) Sprout wouldn’t let it leave his hand and I actually just put him to bed with it firmly in his grasp.
2. DH convinced me he needed better tires on his truck. So he sold these perfectly good ones on Craigslist:
to get these ones:
Me: “Um, Honey, they look the same.”
DH: “No, look at the tread!”
Me: “Well, I guess they look…manly?”
DH: “They’re C rated all-terrains!”
Yeah, ok, whatever babe. You’re paying for them out of YOUR envelope (and I don’t think Dave Ramsey would approve!)
(Can you believe I just showed tire treads on my blog? You never know what crazy stuff you’re in for when you come here, huh? :-)
3. Now it’s time for something pretty, flowery, and girly! I won this adorable bag from Borsa Bella Bags thanks to Working Mommy’s giveaway!

I so adore the Driver's License. I tell you these photographers come up with the cutest darn ideas don't they? Your precious "Sprout" is just gorgeous. Love his little smile. He makes me think of my youngest grandson Kain. He will be 3 in a couple of weeks.
Love the tires, but I'll take the bag. Aren't guys just the silliest when it comes to wheels for their trucks?
Congrats on your win. I do so love the bag. The colors are so pretty and fresh. Makes me think of the 70's and flower power. Love it.

That driver's license is too funny! And I swear that is something that my hubby would do too...and I would think they looked exactly alike!

That bag is SO cute! I love it.
And the tires; we've had that discussion way too many times in our house. That's just the tip of the iceberg really -- recently it was new jumper cables (much fancier) and a belt sander (more power). I didn't know I was living with the Tool Man.

Tell your DH I noticed a difference in the tires. It did not look like he needed new ones, though. But if it settles him, it is worth it. :-)
CRACK ME UP! We're taking Dave Ramsey's FPU right now! Our last class is on Monday. So, that was hysterical to read about him taking it out of his envelope. For the record...I don't think Dave would approve either! ha, ha!
My hubby went on a ride-a-long with one of his friends who is a police officer in Mpls. He was like a little kid! But now I say...at least he got it out of his system!
Your son and I have something in common! I just got MY license (renewed--it took TWO hours!) yesterday too! His picture is WAY cuter than mine though. Mine is bad bad bad.
You and I have something in common too...neither one of us get the tire fascination. My husband would TOTALLY get why your husband had to sell the first set to get the second. Totally. :)

Your baby's driver's license is sooooo sweet! My baby just got a new license too - he's 21 and it's an international license but, same thing! I feel about as confident letting him drive the streets of Phnom Penh as you would letting your baby drive!

We just put some tires on Dan's car today. He got a flat tire, RIGHT as we were leaving the dealership after fixing my van. I swear his car was jealous and wanted attention too! So I know how ya feel!
I have never seen a child photographer do that before. How cute!

I had a friend who actually got tires for her birthday gift -ufta. A birthday gift, seriously? Anyway they DO look like good tires but I'd agree, Ramsey might not be on board with this one. LOL

Oh! And the best thing about my week was the baby shower my friends gave me. I got this little brown dress and this little brown sweater. Oh my word. I wish I had it in every size till she was in second grade! It is THAT cute!

I haven't said "hi" in awhile, so hi! The highlight of my week came when the Princess said as we were watching a commercial for life insurance, "Now that you're 40, Mom, you're old enough for insurance!" Ahh, the perks of getting older!
I love the license! My hubby is selling wheels he got for a stock car & now the color isn't right...swing over to my blog and see his work space versus my kitchen!

Wow...and I thought my kid's daycare class was pushing it when they wanted him to sleep on a cot at 12 months. They grow up so fast nowadays :)
