Yes, it’s true! And why am I telling you this?
Because it's time for:
1. Have you ever had a celeb sighting?
Yes, in 1995, Mr. Schwarzenegger visited a large mall in another town where, before I was a cop, I was a security guard there. And guess who they picked to be his body guard for his visit? Yep, lil’ ole 5’0 me!!! (Well, along with 3 other security guards, his own personal guard, and his entire entourage.)
He was very polite and respectful and greeted people as they stopped him along the way. At one point, a lady approached him in a department store, child sized shoe box in hand, little boy in tow. Mr. Schwarzenegger immediately offered to buy the shoes for her son. The lady said, “Oh, no thanks, I’ve already paid for them, I just want you to sign the box.” And he did!
2. What temperature do you keep your house? Ha ha ha, this is always a point of contention in my house. I’m a freeze baby, but DH actually sees the heating/AC bill, so he gets his way.
3. Do you notice dust at other peoples homes? No because mine is probably worse!
4. What's the worst job you ever had? You mean, other than my current assignment??? Just kidding, but seriously my case load is insane right now!
5. What is your most sentimental possession? Baby pictures of my boys and our wedding photos.
So hop on over to Mama M’s and link up too!
Happy Friday, everyone! Any big weekend plans for YOU???

Cool story! I love my daughter baby pictures too. I left them with my parents incase they were lost in the move but I really miss looking at them. Have a wonderful weekend.
Love your Ahnold story...and the juxtaposition between his size and yours is fabulous!
That is soooo cool! I love hearing about famous people meetings! And you are welcome at my house anytime...I like to clean but hate to dust, so at least I wouldn't have to stress about dusting too!
Happy Friday.
How cool to have guarded Mr. S AND that he was nice. I always love hearing that.
Don't even get me started on dust. It's the bane of my existence. :)
I kinda thought he'd be a nice guy!!
I got you linked up as soon as I could...#5 okay?!
Hope you have a fabulous day, sorry I posted so late...we were sleeping in! (Heavenly!!)
Very cool! Have a great weekend!
P.S. I sympathize with the caseload thing...and in case you were wondering...out west when you are gone for the weekend it multiplies in your office while you are gone. Hope you don't have that problem in your office! ;)
How fun that you got to guard the terminator.
And good, you can come to my dust filled home now :)
That is so cool that you guarded him! I think it is awesome that he offered to buy those shoes for that woman. I would have been like "Oh, I already bought these but, you can buy me those over there!" heehee
Happy Friday!
Loved that first one! 5'0" and guarding the Terminator. Funny mental image!
Big plans? Well kinda. It's opening day for my kids' baseball/softball and we will be at the fields all day, first for the parade, then pictures, then our team assignments. They are excited but I am already exhausted just thinking about it.
That is cool about Arnold. I always have liked him. Come on over to my house because we have dust everyday and I don't even care haha!!
I have always wondered what he was like in person.
You can come to my house too, I have piles of dust.
Weekend plans? Haircuts for the boys. :-)
Hey, it ain't the size of the uniform, it's the command presence.
Same thing here with the indoor temperatures. We rarely agree.
O...M...G...I just had to read this to my hubby! His dream is meet Arnold one day!! My baby brother is a celebrity bodyguard in Hollywood (and has met an insane amount of celebrities) and hubby keeps bugging him to introduce him to the Terminator!! The hubs is so jealous of you!!! LOL!!
Hope you have a great weekend!!!
"It's not a tum-ah" haha I love Arnold! And apparently we are tight and I can call him Arnold. :) I really couldn't put this on anyone elses since they could care less but Kirby Pucket had a house on the lake next to my parent's house, that was kind of cool!
Hope you have a great weekend! (Where is our Spring that was here yesterday!?)
Oh sweet! You got to meet the Terminator!
Hope your weekend is relaxing. Sounds like you need it!
That is so cool that you guarded the Terminator! Glad to hear he is as nice as I always thought he was. I've met Dr. McDreamy which is not as exciting as Arnie.
Weekend plans? We are headed out to Oregon for a short road trip.
Have a great weekend.
You have quite an interesting life, Cop Mama! A story for everything! :) *love it!* :) How very cool that you were protecting the terminator. Did you tell him "I'll be back?" That was stupid. But I couldn't resist.
come on. thats like saying chuck norris needs a body guard...he's the terminator..lol. you obviously are no one to tangle with if the terminator needs you. smiles.
Very cool that you got to meet him. We have seen him around here/there in both Sacto and So. CA. He is always very friendly and smiling! :0)
Hi. Nice blog you have here. I would like to pass an award to you. Come pick it up from my blog.
Arnold is my governor. I'm not crazy about him right now, but it's nice to know that on a personal level he was a nice person.
OMG! I'm soooooo jealous that you've not only met Big Arnie, but you guarded him! That is so cool. I'm a "friend" of his wife on FB! LOL :)
Re my plans for weekend - we had a busy day today - my 2 y/o niece's birthday party, a big public demonstration in my home town, shopping & playing in the garden! Tomorrow I need to catch up on the housework!....

Hello! Found you through a comment on Mommie Life! Love the name of your blog! My weekend plans are... baking a cake, and hanging with friends. The usual! Following your blog now.
http://www.gerberdaysblog.com
that's exactly what i had pictured...cute, little you protecting big, muscly him...hee hee!
I'm quite impressed! But let's see, that would make my rowdy Cavalry boy 16 inches taller than you! I like this idea of theme days. Yes, Rosie is a pet. She lives in the garden because she was depressed in the house. She digs in for the winter and come spring, there she is again!
**blows kisses** Deb
I am so scared that if we ever have a fire that I'll not have any pictures. I need to keep in mind I upload them all to Flickr and have given TONS of professional (you know, Wal-Mart) ones away to family and friends.
Such fun answers! I loved reading more about you. Thanks for checking out my blog too!
