but LOOK at what we did instead!

We visited our local indoor flower gardens and
it was WARM inside.
Wonderfully, tropically warm!

Enjoy, my friend!
Soak up these beautiful reds, blues, pinks and greens.

I hope you liked this little break from winter reality.
I know we did!

My son is dying to play in the snow more. Frankly I am so sick of snow. Hubby and I actually had a discussion about where we could move that was warm all year around. That is how fed up we are - and we aren't in the NE where there is 40 something inches. My son was begging to play in the snow. I told him no. His little face is so pathetic. It makes me feel guilty, for a second, but then I look outside, and there is no way.
What a beautiful idea. Oh how I am aching for some spring.
My pastor always says church is in you. That our church is just a building. You spent your day loving your husband and children. I think God would LOVE that. (we even had shirts that say "the church has left the building, lol!)
Wow...those photos are amazing! Makes me even MORE anxious for spring!
I really need to join in. This happens every Monday.. I will stop by next Monday.. I hope you have a great week. Those flowers made me think of Spring.. My Family Fridays are back if you want to share a story about your family..
what beutiful pictures... makes me wish it was spring. Nothing more beutiful than flower gardens.
Those are beautiful pictures!
Gorgeous pictures! It was really nice to see some flowers after our snow-filled extended weekend. Yep, we even got snow in Texas. 12 inches of it!
I went to church but left the kids at home because i had a meeting after.
We didn't do church either. In fact, we need to start going on Saturday evening now because of my class on Sunday. At least for a while.
Oh so lovely pictures ;)
Nature is a good reminder of God!
You were with Gods beautiful flowers. I'm sure He understands.
Those are so beautiful! Gosh I'm so ready for Spring to be here!
Beautiful!
Love the pictures, I am SO ready for Spring!! :)
Oh no you didnt go there without me!! THis makes me CRAZY to see these beautiful flowers on here when its so cold and white out there... LOVE the pictures!!!
Blessings-
Amanda
Im so jealous that you have something that amazing to go too! And completely jealous that it was so warm!!
Oh man I so needed that. What beautiful flowers & color variety! Great pictures - thanks for sharing!!
Guilt only in the way of not wanting to be this pregnant anymore. I could simply complain about everything but I'm not going to. I know I should be thankful and happy, but I really want this person off my bladder and out of my body. Lately been thinking this slavery has to end soon! So there you have it... my mommy guilt. I know I shouldn't but I did. Thanks again for the flowers.
Beautiful pictures!
God was right there with you. So you did spend time with him...and his best work.
Oh AND you are loading "loud and clear". Seriously! ok? too funny! way cute- though. Sorry I couldn't resist. At least I didn't say wigging out.
Oh my goodness I can almost smell those and feel the warmth...not sure if this a treat or torture for my winter sick gardener's heart!!! Kim
Oh my - how lovely! A great boost to get you through to Spring!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Your comment was very sweet.
My biggest desire in this life is to reach others for Christ.
I hope and pray you will take the time to listen to the message I posted about salvation. It will either shake you up and muddy your water, or it will concrete in your heart the decision you have made to follow Jesus.
Have a great day.
God Bless.

What a great idea to get away from this crazy cold weather! Beautiful pics!
Beautiful flowers. I think sometimes God would rather we skip than be in church just out of habit.
That must have been so nice, beautiful pictures!
Those are beautiful pictures! We skipped church yesterday, too. What's worse, I ran into the Preacher's wife, today. :X
I can't wait till Spring. I can almost smell the chlorine. *sigh*
Beautiful pictures! ah... I would love to smell them!! ;) We skipped church this week too... I was way behind in my little Valentines day sew a heart party planning! ;) I hope to post about it this week...it was such fun!
Well, I have to say that the beauty of God is in those flowers, so you weren't that far away from church! Gorgeous!
Oh, I want Spring SOOOO BAD! Love your pictures! Beautiful! Thanks for the break from ALL THIS SNOW! :)
Beautiful!! I'm sure your kiddos really appreciated the flowers with you guys- we went to an indoor garden about this time last year, and it is still one of my favorite memories with my daughter; she absolutely loved running around the "park" even though it was snowy outside.
That's nothing to be guilty over! LOL- God created the flowers, didn't he? ;)
Beautiful pictures! I think enjoying nature is it's own kind of worship.
What great flowers. I bet that was fun to be somewhere bright and warm on these winter days.
Oh, those are all GORGEOUS pictures-How they make me crave Spring!!!!!!
*sigh*
It can't be too far away, right?!
Those are beautiful pictures! It's just another way of celebrating God and all that He's done.
My mom got something for a friend that said,
You are never closer to God than in a garden.
Anyway, once I get my life organized I'm going to join this meme. Monday hopefully.
beautiful pictures! New follower from Follower Friday
