Skip The Drip!
Tired of your drip coffee maker? Ever heard of French Press Coffee?
The richness can't be beat.
This is a French Press.
My DH first exposed me to it back when we were dating. Now, I am hooked. They are sold in almost any retail store.
Here are the step by step directions.
Trust me, the little extra work is worth it if you love coffee like I do.
First, grind the beans to coarse, NOT fine. Place in the pitcher.
Second, boil the water in a separate pan. Pour the boiling water into the pitcher.
Third, place the plunger on top. Let it seep ten minutes, then push the plunger down slowly.
Voila! Delicious, rich black coffee.
Or, if you're like me, drown it in Pumpkin Spice creamer. Yum!
That's what works for me! Check out more "Works For Me Wednesday" ideas at We Are THAT Family.

That coffee looks amazing!! I'm considering it as an extra gift for my husband this year;)
Coffee tastes so much fresher this way! This works for making herbal teas, too.
I think I have the same coffee press! I don't use it regularly, though, because (first thing in the morning) I'm just too sleepy to take the few extra minutes.
I am a social drinker (coffee that is). But it does look delicious, especially your version with a ton of creamer! That is how I like it, too.
I have always wanted to try this, but frankly I think I am too lazy in the morning to go to the extra trouble. I have heard it's the best coffee.
I've perked coffee while camping (something about coffee made over the fire is just marvelous, but not really practical for the every day!) but I've not tried a coffee press. May have to go on a list!
I dont drink coffee, so I am going to take your word for it!!
Blessings!
Amanda
We have been french press addicts for about 10 years now! We even have one that has traveled the world with us, literally. Remote Tibet, Turkey and back. And then there is our every day one :)
My brother is addicted to his French Press, but I don't drink coffee :o)
I use my french press every morning. It tastes so much better!
